Talen Team Sleigh the 5k Santa Run

Dec 20, 2018

An intrepid team of Santa Claus from Harrow Technology Company TalenTeam joined over 2,000 other Father Christmas-a-likes to take part in this year’s Santa in the City run.

With St Paul’s Cathedral a sea of red, the Santa’s were led to the start line by the Lord Mayor of London, before the runners were set loose across the Millennium Bridge and off along the Thames, taking in some of the Capital’s most iconic landmarks including Tower Bridge, Shakespeare’s Globe and Borough Market.

TalenTeam have chosen to support the amazing staff of Jack’s Place, our paediatric unit located at Northwick Park Hospital, through a year of activity and events of which the Santa Run was the first.

Organiser Katy Nidd – who battled a cough and cold in order to complete the run – said, ‘We wanted to support a local charity and many of us have had personal experiences of the great care provided by the staff at Jack’s Place. The Santa Run seemed the perfect way to kick off our fundraising.’

Plans are already underway for their fundraising in 2019, with a possible 'Tough Mudder' event scheduled for the summer. Watch this space!
