Fundraising in schools & colleges

Like our hospitals, schools are often at the centre of our communities. We have been very lucky in the past to have been supported by many schools raising funds or donating toys for children in hospital over Christmas.

There are lots of opportunities for schools to unleash the creativity, enthusiasm and energy of their pupils, from art shows to sports days to dance shows and carol concerts.

By supporting LNWH Charity, students get to learn about social responsibility, thinking of others and the importance of their local community. Plus fundraising can involve parents and other family members too, making for a truly inclusive activity.

We are also looking to schools for some feedback and guidance on how best we can work together in the future. We are keen to talk to teachers about the kinds of things they would like to see offered by LNWH Charity so that fundraising activities can be even more beneficial to students and teachers alike.

“We are delighted to support Jack's Place and the amazing work the staff perform there for so many young people. The children and families in Harrow are lucky to have such a wonderful facility”

David O’Farrell, Headteacher, St Bernadette’s School, Harrow
