Westside Radio Santa Visit
Dec 28, 2018
LNWH Charity was delighted to welcome the generous staff of West London’s Westside Radio to Jack’s Place on Wednesday 19th December. Stepping out from behind their microphones, Westside Radio station manager Sone Palda and presenters Fee and Summer arrived at the Children’s ward carrying Santa sacks filled with toys and goodies.
Teaming up with Access Self Storage, Westside Radio have been galvanizing the local community from October through to December for their Christmas appeal. Listeners and customers were asked to donate toys for those children who will be in hospital during the festive period. With drop-off points at Access stores in Chelsea, Fulham, Acton, Ealing, Heathrow, Isleworth and Hanwell, people generously donated a range of items from cuddly toys, books, games, DVDs and Craft Supplies.
The appeal was promoted on all shows at Westside Radio and Sone commented “We are excited to be helping in this year’s Access Self Storage Christmas campaign. Together with the support of the local community we are looking forward to spreading some Christmas joy to young people staying in local hospitals over the festive period”.
David Ferarri, manager of Access Self Storage stores in Fulham and Chelsea said: “Hospital charities do such incredible work supporting the amazing nursing teams. Because of their reach across west London we are thrilled to be joining forces with other west London Access Self Storage stores who are clearing space to act as drop-off zones for presents. Having the support of Westside Radio in nominating our charities is fantastic.”Blog home
