What is the funding process?
All applications can be made by filling in the ‘Apply for LNWH charity funding’ form on our staff intranet page.
Before the application can be sent to the charity you must ensure all NHS funding routes have been explored and that to the best of your understanding this funding is appropriate for the charity. NHS funding routes include but are not limited to;
- Departmental budgets - please talk to your manager about departmental budgets.
- Medical devices group (MDG) - Please visit https://weare.lnwh.nhs.uk/medical-devices for more information and their application process and forms.
- CPD funding – Please visit https://weare.lnwh.nhs.uk/continuous-professional-development-cpd for more information.
The funding will be unsuccessful if it is:
- Retrospective (been spent prior to application)
- Under £100
- For anything that is mandatory, compulsory or regulatory e.g. medical registrations
All funding requests are considered at various levels, so make sure you submit your application in plenty of time for it to be considered.
