Health and Wellbeing Festival 2022 finale at Northwick Park Hospital
Jul 06, 2022
The Health and Wellbeing team hosted their third and final Health and Wellbeing Festival 2022, on the grounds of Northwick Park Hospital, Wednesday 29 June.
The event followed on from two very successful Health and Wellbeing Festivals, held the previous week at Ealing and Central Middlesex Hospital sites.
Trust staff were treated to a variety of stalls including LNWH Charity and the LNWH Staff MOT clinic, where staff were offered a mini health check (blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol and body composition).
As well as stalls, the Health and Wellbeing Festival had a pulsating variety of music playing provided by Radio Harrow which ranged from dance hits, ‘80s pop and ‘60s soul.
If staff were feeling a little peckish during their visit to the festival, they were able to sample dishes such as Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat and Halloumi. To quench one’s thirst, staff could take advantage of free water cartons or perhaps pedal their way to a refreshing smoothie courtesy of the Smoothie Bike Company.
LNWH Charity staff were only too happy to pop down to the event, try some of the activities and support the Health and Wellbeing team during the festival.
Wendy George, Head of Charitable Funds at LNWH Charity, said:
“I am happy to support the health and wellbeing festival and I look forward to working with them in the future.”
Judging by the incredible success of the Health and Wellbeing Festivals, it’s likely that this event will be repeated some time in the near future.
