Following the London North West London Healthcare NHS Trust merger in 2014, we changed our name on 1 April 2015 and are excited about celebrating our double-digit 10^th birthday next month.

In that short time, we’ve funded amazing projects at our Trust, big and small, totalling almost £9million, which would otherwise not have been possible through normal NHS funding.

In the run up to our birthday, we’re counting down the top 10 projects we’ve funded each year since 2015.

In 10^th place

We released a grant of £400,000, inviting staff to bid for funding. We received an impressive 138 grant applications valued at £4.1 million, which were then whittled down to 53 approved applications across LNWH NHS Trust. These included initiatives such as ten overnight chairs for palliative care and a clinical skills simulator to train clinical staff in key skills, from basic patient care to advanced nursing.
