Chat health launching soon

April 07, 2025

Thanks to our funding, young adults will soon be able to get confidential sexual health advice from a qualified health professional through a simple online messaging service.

Kamy Dosajh, service manager and project lead, says:

“It’s a discreet and quick service, and those contacting us can give as little or as much information as they’re comfortable with.

“It will help young people to start conversations earlier, stop problems escalating and connect us with them.

“Where necessary, we will encourage patients to come to a clinic, but mostly we will be able to give them the advice they need through the messaging service.

“Without the Charity funding, we would not be able to set up this important service, so I’d encourage LNWH Trust colleagues to speak to the Charity if they have ideas about making improvements to patient care.”
