Today we celebrate our double-digit 10th birthday. Since 1 April 2015 we have funded funded amazing projects at LNWH NHS Trust, big and small, totalling almost £9million, which would otherwise not have been possible through normal NHS funding.

Here are just a few of them:

• In 2015 we funded an impressive £100,000 worth of medical equipment across all our hospital sites
• In 2016 we spent £900,000 to transform our outpatients department and call centre
• In 2017 a £400,000 grant funded, amongst others, a reminiscence room for older people at Central Middlesex Hospital and refurbishment of our Mulitfaith room at Northwick Park Hospital.
• In 2018/19 we funded a new state of the art West London Vascular and Interventional Centre at Northwick Park Hospital.
• In 2020/21 we launched our Covid 19 appeal, and focused £377,000 on staff gift vouchers and hospitality
• In 2022, thanks to kind donations during our Covid appeal, we purchased 27 ITU ventilators costing £144,000.
• In 2023 we funded £83,000 for the annual Staff Excellence Awards ceremony supporting staff welfare, and a research project and Meadow House Hospice volunteers manager costing £94,000.
• In 2024 we continued to support staff wellbeing and again funded the annual Staff Excellence Awards ceremony, and newly introduced Staff Long Service Awards, totalling £103,000.
• In 2024/25 we funded a £1million Charitable Fund Engagement Initiative which attracted 1,300 ideas with staff voting for four winners to share the money.
