Treats in store for our young patients

July 07, 2025

Coming into hospital can be a scary time for anyone, but particularly for our young patients.

Thanks to your kind donations, they now have plenty of distractions to keep their minds off their visit.

Jalpa Gohil is a play specialist in Northwick Park paediatric emergency department and wants to make sure children have fun while they wait for their appointment.

“We’re delighted that the interactive floor projector is up and running. Offering 100 games and endless fun for all ages, children and young people are queueing up to use the games which include sports, sensory stimulation, and cognitive challenges.

“Our amazing paediatric team is dedicated to ensuring that children have an enjoyable experience while they wait for their appointment.

“Thank you LNWH Charity for funding the projector, and we have lots more in the pipeline to help keep our young patients occupied when they visit our emergency department.”
