DAISY awards open at Ealing Hospital

Feb 09, 2026

Thanks for our funding, DAISY awards have arrived at London North West University Healthcare (LNWH) NHS Trust, as Ealing Hospital opens nominations for our nurses and midwives.

This prestigious international award recognises exceptional compassion and outstanding work in nursing and midwifery care.

So, if a nurse or midwife has shown you or a loved one outstanding compassion, skill, or professionalism, why not nominate them for a DAISY award at https://www.lnwh.nhs.uk/daisy-awards

Every three months, six teammates will be honoured at a special awards ceremony and will receive a healers’ touch sculpture, a copy of their nomination, a certificate, and a DAISY honouree pin badge.

The DAISY award is celebrated in healthcare organisations all around the world, recognising the very best in registered nursing and midwifery and was established by the DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died from an autoimmune disease at 33.
