Transforming our gardens
Apr 17, 2026
New benches have arrived in the central garden at Northwick Park Hospital, as part of the work to transform our gardens and green spaces right across London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
The programme is funded by LNWH Charity and the Trust are working with Cultivate London as we spruce up our estates.
Now that spring has arrived, we’re seeing the fruits of everyone’s labour.
Our social value partners at Vistry kindly donated and assembled the four new benches, which will offer a space to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Our waste partners Grundon also brought their social value volunteers along to help the Cultivate London team sand and varnish the benches and sow more wildflower seeds.
Colleagues and patients alike can now enjoy the beautiful looking and smelling daffodils, hyacinths and tulips blooming right across the garden.
Thank you to all the colleagues, volunteers and partners who’ve made such an effort to make our hospital gardens look so beautiful and calm this year.
If you have green fingers or would like to try your hand learning some gardening, Cultivate London are always welcoming volunteers to help keep our green spaces beautiful.
LNWH NHS Trust staff can contact james.foss1@nhs.net or members of the public can contact volunteering@cultivatelondon.org to sign up.
