Putting our best foot forward

July 15, 2026

Last year, we funded a foot pressure plate to help clinical teams identify the best treatment options for patients with foot conditions.

Since introducing the device, staff have used it to monitor patients before and after surgery and to support planning for more complex cases.

In future, it will also support care for diabetic patients and people with complex foot deformities by helping teams plan and monitor treatment more effectively.

Overall, the foot pressure plate is a valuable tool for enhancing patient care and treatment planning at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
