Falls are the 2^nd leading cause of unintentional injury and death worldwide. Being hospitalised puts patients at further risk for falls due to illness and the newness of a hospital environment.

Thanks to our funding, we are helping staff to identify patients who are at risk and reduce incidents of falls at LNWH NHS Trust. The recently implemented “Think Yellow” initiative involved giving yellow kits, including a yellow blanket and socks, to patients at risk of falling so staff can easily identify them for better monitoring.
