Fun for our teenage patients

Aug 11, 2025

Thanks to our funding, our adolescent patients are kept occupied while waiting for medical reviews, test results and procedures.

This new interactive touch screen gaming table, in our paediatric emergency department at Northwick Park Hospital, helps reduce stress and boredom, supports motor and cognitive development, and promotes positive social interaction.

Since it was installed, our young patients have benefited and enjoyed a more relaxed and supportive environment during their visits, and said they feel less anxious, bored, or scared during treatment, because they engaged with this play resource.
