Thanks to our funding, even colleagues seated at the back are now able to hear crucial information delivered by the infection prevention and control team during training sessions.

Marc Joseph Medina, an infection prevention and control nurse, highlighted the challenges faced when training large groups: “We provide training for up to 70 staff members in large spaces, and feedback revealed that those furthest away often struggled to hear what we were saying.”

“To address this, I applied to LNWH Charity to purchase a mobile PA system and was delighted that the request was approved.

“Education about preventing infection is vital for keeping both colleagues and patients safe. We recently used the new mobile system during a training session, and everyone heard us loud and clear.

“Thanks to the Charity for funding this useful piece of equipment. It will make our jobs easier.”
