Your kind donations really do go towards improving patient experience.

It’s been over a month since we funded reclining chairs for our discharge lounge, so what do our patients think of them?

Thanks to our funding, dementia patients continue to enjoy live music from The Sptiz, who regularly visit them on the wards.

Plucky pensioner, May Hamilton, completed 40 lengths of Southend pier in just one week, the equivalent distance of 49 miles, to raise money for LNWH Trust.

When Gail Manning, a registered health play specialist in Jack’s Place children’s ward, recognised the need for children and young people to share their experiences of using LNWH NHS Trust services and work together to make improvements, we were happy to help.

We are delighted to fund music therapy to benefit our parents and new-born babies during what can be a stressful and worrying time. Premature or sick babies are cared for on our neonatal unit, and they can be with us for many weeks, depending on their health care needs.

Thanks to funding from LNWH Charity, through the transformation innovation fund, mobile dispensing units are ready to roll.

To help identify patients who are at risk and help reduce incidents of falls at LNWH NHS Trust, we funded the “Think Yellow” initiative.
