Falls are the 2nd leading cause of unintentional injury and death worldwide. Being hospitalised puts patients at further risk for falls due to illness and the newness of a hospital environment.
Butterfly volunteers comfort end-of-life patients
Thanks to our funding, LNWH NHS Trust have recruited nine specialist end-of-life Butterfly volunteers to offer companionship and comfort to dying patients and their loved ones.
Christmas gifts for patients
We know that a stay in hospital is difficult at any time, but it’s particularly hard over the holiday period. That’s why we are delighted to fund Christmas gift bags for every London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust patient.

Huge thanks to everyone who organised and supported the We Care Cake Sale held at the weekend by London Underground staff. With the help of their mascot, Piccles the Panda, they raised over £1,200, and donations are still coming in.
We Care Cake Sale
London Underground staff will be selling a selection of delicious cakes at South Harrow Underground station on 16 December from 11am to 3pm to raise money for Northwick Park neonatal intensive care unit.
